The First Year

New Life - A Miracle

Yesterday we celebrated my grandson Jase's 1st birthday. One year lived already!

I was there when my daughter pushed her little boy into the world and he let out a cry of protest. I was smitten the moment I saw his sweet face. (happens every time) Children are precious.

This first year has been filled with sleepless nights, tears and trepidation. But mostly it's been about joy and laughter.

His beautiful family.

 Jase is a charmer. He's brimming with adventure.

 Life with him is never dull

Jase has made our lives more beautiful and lots more fun. We thank God that he placed this little man in the midst of our family. We don't know what is ahead, but certainly his mischief and curiosity will keep life interesting. 


Thank you Jase, for being part of our lives. I can't wait for more hugs and laughter.
